Speaking ahead of the games, the Leicester City winger will miss the double header as he’s currently injured – emphasized the importance of fan support in enhancing the team’s chances.
“We need your support and we are ready to fight for the nation as always, but we still need your support to get the victory and we hope to see you all in the stadium,” Fatawu said.
The Black Stars are committed to bounce back after a frustrated AFCON qualifiers campaign and rekindle their pursuit for a fifth World Cup appearance.
With Ghana currently manning the second spot in Group I, victory in both matches will greatly boost their qualification aspirations.
